'Battlefieldtrip :D

Wooooooooo ! battlefield trip ! :D
though its kinda tiring and i feel nauseous throughout the trip but its worth it ,
i gained quite alot of knowledge * twist
our facilitator was Sheila sim . she is kind , friendly and Patient !!
the boys in our class were making tons of noise ! so inconsiderate can ! must respect ma . lols
first destination was fort canning centre , we went to the fort canning's gateway .
and even climb to the top lols , i can only say that the stairs is very steeep and squeezy ! :/
*faciliator said that is built steep because they want to slow down the enemys from attacking them . after that went in the battlebox , Wooooo ! its air conditioned ;D hahas ,
atfirst it was kinda scary i must say , but after a few secs its much better ! :D lols

(please dont mind the lousy qualities of the photos , its very dark in there )

we went in many rooms , i think there is a total of 26 rooms ? but we only managed to go in 6 - 9 rooms , as time was running out . And i saw this basin with my name on it ~

coool ! hor ? hahahas , on the way there we also saw a shop named " Regina's Specialties "

i think it comes from that shop ba , :D

we also went to the old Changi prison , didnt take pictures there as i think its kinda disrespectful , so dont mind my wordy post . :D

i feel very --- how to say sad ? respect ? hmmms .

im sad for those torture they've been true just to protect the country ,

i respect their brave act and sacrifice . i think knowing bout history is kinda important now .

i saw some pictures of the people in the past , they were Treated SOSOSO badly D: !

how cruel , and they were so skinny that i could see their ribcage very obviously !!

by walking down that gallery , looking at those pictures my heart . like soursour de D;

dontknow how to describe . im being sentimental here ~

and they squeeezed 12.000 POWs in the changi prison when its build to hold about only 600 inmates . -- so cruel ,

On the way to Kranji war cemetery .

i fell asleeep on the bus , couldnt take it headhurts and i feel like i can vormit out anytime ,

reached there and was feeling damn weak , hmms assembled then facilitators told us the "do's" and " donts" i was very how to say erm , shocked ? to see so many tombs . D; there was a total of 4,500 graves there . and there were 800+ bodies which were unknown , and the youngest at the age of death there was 16 . omg imagine how young was he at that time ,

Facilitator also told us alot of cruel things that happened to the soildiers at that time ,

we had a small ceremory then went back to schoool .

Thanks facilitator ! though i doubt you can see this .

went to slack and play bball for awhile , and went home .
